A note from our founder

I grew up around cattle. Out here you use what the animal gives you — tallow was never a trend, it was just what was already in the kitchen.

Years later, working through health issues of my own, I started paying a lot more attention to what I was putting in and on my body. I kept landing back on the same simple, animal-based things I was raised around.

So I started rendering my own. Small batches, whipped slow, plenty of them wrong before one felt right.

Shaae is my middle name with an extra "a." Four ingredients, made here by us, and nothing on the label I couldn't explain to you.
